Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our daily operations and ensuring that administrative tasks are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with various accounting functions.
Duties
- Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in general ledger reconciliation, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded.
- Support budgeting processes by providing necessary data and analysis.
- Collaborate with the corporate accounting team on various projects and reports.
- Process payroll accurately and timely, adhering to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all financial activities.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or trends that require attention.
- Execute account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial statements.
- Assist with public accounting tasks as needed, including preparation for audits.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation to verify the accuracy of reported figures.
- AR Collections.
- Administer HR processes including onboarding.
- Maintain accurate inventory accounting.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within an accounting or finance environment.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, budgeting, corporate accounting, payroll processing, GAAP compliance, account analysis, account reconciliation, public accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software applications.
- A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
