Position Overview:
RGA is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial transactions, record-keeping, and general accounting procedures. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
•Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
•Prepare and distribute invoices to clients in various templates
•Work with project managers to ensure accurate client invoices are prepared and sent
•Maintain and reconcile financial records, including invoices, expense reports, and bank statements.
•Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed.
•Monitor and track project budgets and expenditures.
•Collaborate with the RGA leadership team to ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
•Provide administrative support to the RGA leadership team, including data entry and document management.
•Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
•Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
•Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with ERP systems (Unanet, Deltek) preferred.
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
•Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
•Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.
•Experience in architecture/engineering industry is preferred but not required.
