Accounts Payable Clerk

Richard's Kitchen Store is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team in Houma, LA. This individual will be entrusted with the accountability of helping maintain accurate ledgers and ensure timely payments. The ideal candidate should have outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills to effectively process invoices, reconcile discrepancies, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner. $16.50 - $18 hourly

• Verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Reconcile supplier and purchase orders.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable.

• US Citizenship/Work Authorization.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Detail-oriented skills demonstrated through an assessment.
• Microsoft Office skills demonstrated through an assessment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Richard’s Kitchen Store (RKS) is a second-generation food service equipment and supply store in Houma, LA. We have been in business since 1977 with our primary focus being on Offshore & Marine Kitchens, Commercial Kitchens, and Residential indoor and outdoor cooking areas.

We offer all major brands of cooking, refrigeration, food prep, ice-making, and ware washing equipment. We stock an abundance of small wares, cutlery, plumbing, and janitorial supplies along with miscellaneous front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house needs. Additional services we offer are an in-house service and preventative maintenance department with certified technicians, local delivery and installation, and a complete computer-aided design division with 3D capabilities and equipment specification options.
