Responsibilities
As this is an entry level position, some job responsibilities will come after training, but eventually these will be the CSR job :
Answer phones, and direct calls to the correct departments / individuals.
Provides customer service to assigned policyholders for his / her specialist field.
Aids in preparing annual review appointments for the account executive in his / her specialist field.
Cross-sells all products at every opportunity.
Updates policy and database information.
Coordinates thank you / welcome letter for new households.
Reviews cancellation and renewal lists on a weekly basis to ensure a high level of retention and profitability. Makes calls and sends letters when appropriate on cancellations and renewal changes.
Sets up and maintains files on all new business accounts for their specialist field.
Always asks for referrals and thanks customers for their business.
Requirement
Bilingual - Must be able to clearly read, write and speak both English and Spanish.
Pass Background Check.
Minimum Education of High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience working in an office environment.
Teamwork Skills - Accept feedback when offered and work well with others.
Phone skills, Computer skills, basic math skills, the ability to multi-task, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer skills include a basic understanding of programs such as word, excel, emails systems,
The ability to quickly adapt and learn new systems and skills.
A Property & Casualty insurance license is required for the job, but we accept non-licensed applicants that are willing to obtain a license while employed with us within 3-4 month of hire.
