The client would like a candidate with 5 years related work experience of experience in an environmental specialist/compliance role. Bachelor's Degree or higher in an environmental science/engineering and/or related technical discipline or equivalent combination of formal education and job related experience is also desired. This position is an experienced level position that manages environmental compliance from conception to completion and requires strong communication skills. Candidate should perform job functions independently and able to manage task assignment and completion with limited supervision.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, permits, authorizations, and agreements
- Experience interacting, advising, negotiating, and communicating effectively
- Maintains files for compliance reporting
- Coordinate and provide environmental technical support to field operations, engineering, & regulatory personnel
- Provide knowledge and expertise across all environmental media and programs, including government regulations.
- Project planning and development through all stages to facilitate communication with stakeholders.
- Manages consultants as required in the development of specialized permitting (air, water, waste)
- Coordinates routine compliance inspections with operations for air permits and participates in external audits as required
