Operations and Maintenance Technician

My client is looking for an experienced Operations & Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team in the energy sector. This role involves overseeing the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical systems within the facility.
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to optimize plant performance.
• Work with contractors and team members to ensure smooth operations and equipment reliability.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking and reporting.
• Follow strict safety procedures, including LOTO, confined space, and hot work permitting.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in plant operations, maintenance, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical knowledge.
• Experience with industrial equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and lifts is a plus.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and flexible schedules as needed.
• Relevant certifications and licenses preferred.
