Our client, a leading global energy merchant is looking for a Sr. Credit Manager (wholesale power). This position will lead a small team to support their fast-growing U.S. power and gas business. This hands-on leader will be an instrumental part of their continued commercial success story.
Job responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor a portfolio of counterparties, analyzing both individual entities and broader market and industry trends.
- Develop innovative credit solutions for structured transactions, integrating both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
- Review and validate potential future credit exposure calculations prepared by the risk team, providing critical assessment and feedback.
- Partner with legal, commercial, and risk teams to negotiate master agreements for bi-lateral trading and structured transactions.
- Create and present slides for the quarterly credit committee and ensure accuracy in month-end credit reports for management and financial reporting.
- Lead and mentor assigned team members, fostering individual development and contributing to company growth.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Salary : $112,000 - $180,000
