What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenance Technician position at Richard Wolf Medical Instruments?
Responsible for maintenance, repairs, and support of facility maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Completes and responds to all assigned work orders, troubleshooting calls, and emergency maintenance calls.
- Performs repairs and facility support tasks including but not limited to, carpentry, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, tile, production equipment and move / install office furniture as needed and in collaboration with Building Maintenance team members.
- Assists with coordinating various vendor communication (i.e. for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Facility Maintenance).
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment logs.
- Assists with vendor / equipment manufacturer-proposed preventative maintenance requirements and schedules are developed into standard operating procedures (SOP's). Ensures corresponding forms / logs are written and training is completed, to ensure safe and efficient equipment availability / operation. Informs Quality Control if calibration is needed.
- Assists with coordination of resources and third-party suppliers for proper execution of building projects.
