What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Clinical Instructor position at Richards Medical Academy?
Instructors are responsible for teaching students in the clinical setting, ensuring that they gain the knowledge and skills that are required for entry-level employment in their chosen field. Clinical Instructors will manage and supervise student nurses in various clinical facilities while promoting a positive, supportive and engaging learning experience. Instructors are to “model” the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure that each student has been presented with the material to successfully meet learning objectives
- Provide clinical experience in medical-surgical, community health, OB/ GYN , or pediatric nursing, terminal, long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites
- Create a clinical environment which fosters students’ academic growth and guides their professional development.
- Ensure campus compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory bodies’ guidelines, along with internal policies of the company
- Other duties as assigned
Required experience:
- Two (2) years Nursing experience
Required education:
- Bachelor (BSN)
