About the Role:
Reporting to the Director, USA Northwest, the Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and managing business accounts, both existing and new. The role requires strong knowledge of Richards’ products, and the ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and resilient. You will work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams to ensure smooth processes, customer satisfaction, and product growth. You will act as a key point of contact for customers and offer solutions while maintaining strong relationships.
The successful applicant will:
- Qualify leads and generate new sales opportunities for existing and new business accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met.
- Distribute larger sales opportunities to the Outside Sales team.
- Accurately enter and manage orders, RMAs, credits, and pricing.
- Provide professional, friendly communication with customers, assisting with orders and returns.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
- Track sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Occasionally visit customer sites in collaboration with the Outside Sales team.
We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- 1 years of experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and a solution-driven attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an Outside Sales team.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM experience is a plus.
