Description:The Title 1 Teacher is responsible for providing targeted instructional support to eligible students in reading and mathematics, as identified through assessment data and Title 1 program criteria. This position focuses on helping students achieve academic success by delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions and collaborating with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress.
Job Summary:
Plan and deliver targeted reading and math instruction to small groups of students or on a one-on-one basis.
Utilize data-driven instructional strategies and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support curriculum alignment and ensure instructional consistency.
Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments; maintain accurate records of student achievement.
Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress and program effectiveness.
Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and staff meetings to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
Adhere to federal, state, and local Title 1 program requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
Valid New Hampshire Teaching Certification with appropriate endorsement(s) in Elementary Education or Reading/Math Specialist.
Proven experience in providing instructional interventions in reading and/or math.
Strong understanding of Title 1 regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Preferred:
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and varying academic abilities.
Familiarity with evidence-based intervention programs and progress monitoring tools.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position within Richards School, serving students in grades K-5.
Primarily works with students in small group or one-on-one settings, both within and outside the regular classroom environment.
Collaboration with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student growth and achievement.
Participation in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities.
