What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT-DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL FLOATER (Howard County) position at Richcroft, Inc.?
We are seeking Floating Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide hands on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning. The hours for this position will vary. Some lift and transfer may be required. Paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification! DSP’s assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by: Assisting with participation and exploration of the communityCultivating and expanding independent living skillsAssisting with development of meaningful and personal relationshipsImplementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals Eligible candidates must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver’s license with less than three points on the driving record.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated or undergo weekly testing for COVID-19 to ensure compliance with
enhanced health and safety protocols and to keep yourself and others safe and
