What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT - Direct Support Professional (DSP) Support Services/ Baltimore- Perry Hall position at Richcroft?
We are seeking a
Part Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities / outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
Support a young man in the Perry Hall area with independent living skills at home and in the community. Provide support with social and recreation activities including Special Olympics.
Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.
This position is : hours / week
Monday -Sunday
The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.
Some lift and transfer may be required.
Paid training, including CPR / First Aid, and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification!
DSPs assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by :
Assisting with participation and exploration of the community
Cultivating and expanding independent living skills
Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships
Implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals.

Qualifications :
Regular Base Rate is $ / hr . There is an additional $1 / hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($ $1=$ / hr.)
