Responsibilities
- Lead, train, evaluate, and manage the Underwriting department.
- Review, approve, and deny lease agreements, both with and without special provisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with credit reporting agencies.
- Oversee the utility conversion process and ensure timely updates.
- Update lease documents as needed.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in training and managing teams responsible for processing tasks.
- Relevant experience in evaluating and managing risk for residential or commercial properties.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to assess complex situations.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fair-housing laws.
- Multi-family property management experience a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management, including company partners.
- Experience managing finance and loan processing staff is a plus.
