- Coach and motivate staff of buyers and support
- Manage “Just-In-Time” (JIT) order fulfillment(s) and product receiving
- Negotiate national long term contracts
- Negotiate bulk purchases for stock management
- Oversight of purchase order expedition in a very fast paced environment
- Oversight of local Runner activities
- Oversight of stock materials, inventories and distributions
- Source/Interview new vendor relationships and product
- MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience in training and managing department staff, strong leadership and communication skills
- 4-year college degree preferred
- Effective with both system organization and just in time scheduling
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Have great attention to detail and be extremely organized while simultaneously motivating and supervising a team of buyers and processors
- Strong PC knowledge
- Previous purchasing experience is helpful but not required
- Previous experience in multi-family apartment management a plus
