Business Development MBA Intern - Richemont Regional Functions

The Business Development Manager, reporting to the VP of Strategy & Business Development, has a key role in the Richemont organization in the Americas. The roles and responsibilities of this position are diverse, and as such, require a highly resourceful individual with strong leadership, self-motivation, and analytical skills. He/She is responsible for successfully leading regional projects, conducting research and creating reports to address economic issues related to the distribution of Maisons products in the region. He/She will also support Management in the preparation of reports, studies, analysis, presentations, and ad hoc tasks.

Business Development MBA Intern - Richemont Regional Functions

Responsibilities
Research, analysis and reports:
- Prepare PowerPoint presentation decks and reports to key stakeholders and Management (local market and macroeconomics trends, consumer behavior, market intelligence, etc.)
- Analyze monthly sales data, and forecasting how economic factors may affect future sales
- Align with regional stakeholders and Group stakeholders on content and format
- Serve as a key partner in the Richemont Americas business transformation, participating in the development and implementation of initiatives to evolve the organization’s operational processes and structure
- Develop reports, presentations, and strategic analysis, as needed, and to support recommendations for driving the business forward
- Conduct competitive research highlighting trends and competitor activity in the Americas
- Support in implementing business development plans and initiatives that enable Maisons to meet and exceed sales and marketing targets
- Lead and oversee key regional projects
- Ensure alignment among the internal and/or external stakeholders
- Ensure all critical issues are addressed properly, efficiently, and judiciously
- Prepare regular communications to key stakeholders and Management on project progress, status and challenges
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams for assigned initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or finance from a leading university. Currently enrolled in an accredited MBA or Masters Program.
- 5-7 years of experience
- Strong quantitative skills; economic, accounting and statistics knowledge required
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to think critically to weigh the pros and cons of different solutions to a problem
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Robust organizational skills
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments and all levels of management
- Ability to work cross-culturally
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in project management
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in the luxury industry is a plus
- Able to work a full-time schedule throughout the course of our Summer Internship Program
- Authorized to work in the United States; International students must have a current work visa, Richemont North America will not sponsor work visa’s for summer internships
- Must be age 18 or older to participate
- Must be available to participate for the entirety of internship program (June 2nd - August 8th)
