Job Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Custodian to oversee and manage the custodial operations at several of our State NH facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work, floor care, and facilities maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of custodial staff
- Perform and oversee cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all areas are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Train new custodial staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Previous experience in custodial, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with industrial cleaning is a plus
- Residential painting experience is beneficial
