Position Overview:
Richey May's Cybersecurity Practice seeks an experienced Channel Manager to develop and execute strategic partnership initiatives that drive revenue growth through our channel ecosystem. This role will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and delivering cybersecurity solutions to clients through our partner network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners while actively identifying and recruiting new strategic partners to expand our cybersecurity solutions' market reach. This includes regular engagement with partners through business planning sessions, training programs, and quarterly business reviews.
- Create and implement comprehensive channel strategies that align with Richey May's overall business objectives, including partner program development, incentive structures, and go-to-market strategy for our cybersecurity solutions portfolio.
- Drive revenue growth through the channel by enabling partners with the necessary tools, resources, and knowledge to sell and support Richey May's cybersecurity solutions effectively. This includes developing sales enablement materials and conducting partner training sessions.
- Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics, prepare regular reports on partner activities, pipeline development, and revenue generation, and make data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure alignment of channel initiatives with company strategies and to develop partner-specific marketing campaigns and sales programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5 years of experience in channel sales or partner management, preferably in cybersecurity or technology services
- Proven track record of developing and growing successful channel partnerships with demonstrated revenue impact
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity industry trends, solutions, and market dynamics
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with partners at all levels
- Experience with channel program development, partner enablement, and sales strategy execution
- Open to travel 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Knowledge of partner relationship management (PRM) platforms and CRM systems
- Industry certifications in sales methodology or cybersecurity
- Experience in a Sales Role or hands-on experience with a Cybersecurity Product Suite
- Relationships with Cybersecurity Product organizations
Pay:
- $105,000 - $135,000 Base Salary per year Commissions
