Role Overview
Richey May is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to expand our qualified lead pipeline in the cybersecurity software and consulting space.
This in-office position is located in our Denver, Colorado headquarters.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with proven quota attainment experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative selling cybersecurity solutions and consulting services. You will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, developing targeted outreach campaigns, and qualifying leads for Account Executives to pursue.
The Impact You Will Make:
- Research and identify key decision-makers within target organizations who influence cybersecurity purchasing decisions
- Develop and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns that generate interest in Richey May's cybersecurity solutions and consulting services
- Create and maintain engagement playbooks focused on security stakeholders, including CISOs, IT Directors, and Risk & Compliance Officers
- Qualify prospects based on security needs, budget, and timeline before scheduling meetings with Account Executives
- Build and execute strategic outreach plans incorporating security industry knowledge and pain points into customized messaging
- Effectively communicate Richey May's cybersecurity value proposition, articulating how our solutions and consulting services address modern security challenges
- Establish yourself as a trusted security advisor during initial prospect conversations
- Maintain detailed prospect interaction records in Salesforce to enable data-driven pipeline management
- Meet or exceed activity metrics and opportunity creation targets

Qualifications:
- 3 years of proven success in software/services sales development or account management, with consistent quota achievement
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field)
- Experience with complex B2B sales cycles and consultative selling approaches
- Demonstrated success in developing and nurturing a strong sales pipeline
- Advanced training in sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, Solution Selling, etc.) is highly valued
- Exceptional phone presence and proven ability to navigate gatekeepers and engage C-level executives
- Strong analytical skills to qualify opportunities and conduct effective discovery calls
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple projects independently
- Track record of quickly incorporating coaching and feedback to improve performance
- Experience in fast-paced environments requiring adaptability and hands-on problem-solving
- Proficiency with modern sales tech stack, including Salesforce, sales engagement platforms (Outreach.io, SalesLoft, etc.), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Prior experience selling into mid-market and enterprise accounts is preferred
Pay:
- $45,000 - $60,000 Base Salary per year Commissions
