What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garden Center Sales Associate position at Richfield Farms?
We are a 105-year young farm, garden center, and nursery. We start out in spring selling house plants and growing cool weather flowers and vegetable crops in our green houses. We transition into a fast-paced retail garden center as the season progresses. Selling and growing flowers, perennials, trees and shrubs. We start our own seeds and prepare them to be planted on the farm. When summer arrives we turn into a full force local produce market selling all local and organic farm goods from our fields and across the region. We continue through harvest and the holiday season with product offerings and goods changing seasonally. We do a lot of landscape designs and installations. We love to create beautiful displays and educate our customers about plants and nature. We have a strong customer base and are constantly adding new customers. We like to think outside the box to get things done the right way. We are looking for several new employees to join our staff of seasoned professionals. We are looking to fill positions in sales, customer service, design, and labor. We are on the hunt for people who have a knowledge or passion for plants, nature or the green industry. Pay rate based on experience and or knowledge of the industry. College degrees and accreditation expected but not required. We hope to hear from you soon!
