Position Details
As the 8th grade science teacher at RPSA, you will be a member of a 3 person grade level team and a 3 person content area team. RPSA uses the MI STAR curriculum integrated with the New Tech framework for project based learning. Class sizes are capped at 27. Middle School science teachers at RPSA teach 3 core classes along with a 1 / 2 hour Leader in Me course and 1 / 2 hour Literacy course each day with curriculum and lessons provided.
The district pays 80% of your insurance premium, and offers a 401k match.
After one year of employment, teachers are eligible for up to $2500 annual bonus. Please see attached job description for additional information.
