This position supports the Environmental Services Director in maintaining a clean and orderly facility, ensuring the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department run smoothly. The role includes a variety of duties, such as cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the facility, maintaining furniture and fixtures, ensuring the cleanliness of bathrooms, and addressing emergency cleaning situations.
Key responsibilities include:

Cleaning and Sanitation: Regularly clean and sanitize surfaces, furniture, fixtures, floors, windows, and other areas, ensuring the facility remains clean and hygienic.

Furnishings Maintenance: Dust, spot clean, disinfect, and polish furniture and fixtures, and manage the cleanliness of various surfaces, including shelves and vents.

Bathroom Maintenance: Clean, disinfect, and stock public and private bathrooms.

Emergency Cleaning: Handle emergency cleaning needs, such as spills or other safety hazards.

Terminal Cleaning: Assist with preparing rooms for new residents by performing terminal cleaning duties.

Reporting and Communication: Report safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, and supply needs to the supervisor.

Equipment and Materials Maintenance: Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
