What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Technician position at Richland County Government?
The purpose of the class to perform a variety of routine-to-moderately complex clerical and data processing duties in support of the daily operations of the Office of the Clerk of Court and Family Court, and to perform related work as required. This class works according to some procedures but decides how or when to do things; work is reviewed regularly by supervisor, the Deputy of Family Court Administrator.
Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by formal training, special courses or self-education that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education or specialized advanced training in data processing, clerical studies or a closely related field. Must possess or be able to obtain Notary Public certification. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Requires over one year and up to and including two years of office experience.
