JOB SUMMARY
The Intern will assist in the daily operations and various projects within the organization. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting while supporting different departments as needed. The Intern will work under the supervision of designated staff and contribute to administrative, research, and operational tasks to enhance their knowledge and skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist in daily administrative tasks, including document preparation, data entry, and record keeping.
- Support department-specific projects by conducting research, compiling reports, and analyzing data.
- Participate in meetings, taking notes, and assisting with follow-up actions as needed.
- Engage with staff and stakeholders to support programs, events, or initiatives.
- Maintain and organize office supplies, files, and records as required.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of organizational events or activities.
- Provide customer service and respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Support marketing and communications efforts, including social media and content creation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the organization.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum high school diploma/GED.
- Previous volunteer or internship experience is a plus but not required.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience providing the necessary skills and knowledge.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is sedentary work and requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body; work may also require crouching, manual dexterity, perceiving sounds at normal speaking levels, distinguishing among sounds, mental acuity, talking, and walking.
