Role:
This role will report to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for overseeing the overall success of the sales team by providing direct inputs into the Company’s sales strategy, measuring KPIs, cultivating relationships, and increasing sales. Successful candidates will have keen interpersonal skills and a strong technical acumen that lends them to working across various industries and at multiple levels within an organization.

- Office and Glass Manufacturing Facility
- Exposure to heat and high temperatures
- Travel as required – 50% minimum expected
Essential Job Functions:
- Contribute to the development of the overall Company’s sales and marketing strategies, focus on core markets of Life Science, Aerospace, Defense, and Semiconductor.
- Develop, communicate, and achieve sales goals.
- Provide the leadership team with monthly/quarterly KPIs and forecast data.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
- Partner with customers to understand business needs and objectives.
- Gain an understanding of changes in the marketplace and identify opportunities for growth. Proactive report on market trends and dynamics.
- Work directly with operations and engineering departments to meet customer demands and improve margins.
- Develop sales team and provide timely feedback to drive results.
- Provide strategic requirements for developing and building a sales team.
- Assist the Director of Quality with corrective actions for customer complaints.
- Manage and proactively develop sales pipeline. Support sales team developing, evaluating, and pursuing new opportunities, markets and customers.
- Provide customer/sales input while participating in weekly production scheduling meetings.
- Select, manage, attend and support trade show logistics as required.
- Significant Travel as required; 50% customers facing, 25% office, 25% flex.
Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions
- Ability to manage time effectively and delegate.
- Work diligently both alone and as part of a group.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suit and sales software (MAGI experience preferred)
- Proven sales experience that meets or exceeds goals.
Other Job Requirements:
- Adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Help where necessary with other job assignments.
- Able to sit, stand, bend, lift, reach, grasp, type, and communicate effectively in English. Multi-lingual helpful but not required.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- 10 years of progressive sales experience with at least 2 years in a similar role.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or comparable combination of education and experience.
