(This is a part-time temporary role)
Role:
The role of the Inspector Packer is to directly support end product quality and packaging process. The role will require visual inspection of product, packing and finishing by palletizing ware. The role of the Inspector Packer is a direct support to the Shift Quality Technician and Shift Supervisor for part quality and procedural adherence. They will need to communicate clearly and regularly with the shift quality technician(s), shift supervisor and machine operators. The role is an integral part to the department’s success.

- Can be very hot during certain seasons
Essential Job Functions:
- In-process inspections for both visual and dimensional acceptance
- In-process inspection documentation as required
- Communicate product non-conformities
- Pack ware in trays
- Wrap all trays using L-sealer and heat tunnel as required
- Label trays of packed ware
- Inspect trays, labels and final wrap for accuracy and completeness
- Ability to visually inspect and pack approximately 2,500 glass vials per hour
Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions
- Manual dexterity
- Visual ability to perform detailed product inspection
- Continued attention to detail in fast-paced, repetitive working environment
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull approximately 3-8 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry 20-40 pounds during the shift
- Ability to perform duties effectively while standing through entire shift
- Ability to read, complete and understand all required paperwork and documentation in performing the Inspector Packer duties.
- Diligence to manage time effectively

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Successful employment in positions requiring visual attention to detail during repetitive physical activity
- Production experience helpful
Education Required:
- High School diploma or GED
