Position Overview
The Draftsman will work closely with customer engineers and project coordinators to translate engineering requirements into AutoCad / Solidworks files and subsequently into nesting files for CNC equipment (Waterjet/Laser/Tube Cutter). The Draftsman will learn to factor manufacturing process capabilities into the AutoCad files to ensure manufacturability.
Essential Job Functions
- Proficient in reading/understanding blueprints, schematics
- Translate / draw in AutoCAD
- Write and optimize Waterjet programs and drawings for CNC cuttings
- Flexibility and competency in handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Maintaining documents for all projects
- Ensuring compliance of all relevant company policies, procedures and objectives
- 3D Modeling / Solidworks preferred
- All other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years in a CAD / AutoCAD, Solidworks environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
