Overview
The Police Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining public safety and enforcing laws within the community. Responsibilities

  • Patrol designated areas to deter and detect criminal activity.
  • Respond promptly to calls for service and emergencies.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of crimes, accidents, and incidents.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and arrests.
  • Enforce laws and regulations while ensuring the rights of individuals are respected.
  • Engage with community members to build positive relationships and promote safety awareness.
  • Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
  • Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies as required.
  • Stay informed about local laws, immigration law, and relevant regulations.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of law enforcement practices and procedures.
  • Proficient in report writing to document incidents accurately.
  • Ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively.
  • Experience or knowledge in loss prevention techniques.
  • Understanding of criminal investigation processes.
  • Basic animal care skills for handling situations involving animals safely.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with the public and fellow officers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
