Moonbeam Communications & Equipment, LLC, a division of Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a hands-on, team-oriented, full-time time Field Service Technician to join our Moonbeam Team!

The full time Field Service Technician will support Richman Property Services, Inc. properties in Central Florida, primarily based out of the Tampa Bay and Polk County, FL.
SUMMARY:
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of all aspects of COAX and fiber based, large networks. Troubleshooting and inspection of residential networks is required and will include: Outlets, drops, switches, routers, tablets, computers, cameras, VPNs and gaming consoles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity in COAX and fiber-based networks.
- Applicant must be able to use and understand a cable based, digital signal meter.
- Must be able to troubleshoot WAN/LAN connectivity.
- Must have working knowledge of networking equipment, such as: digital cable modems, MTA, MicroTik routers, switches, wireless access points, ONT, ONU
- Must have working knowledge of the OSI model
- Must have working knowledge of Cable and fiber based CMTS infrastructure.
- Applicant must be able to configure Microsoft Windows and MAC OSX for connectivity in residential environments.
- Applicant must have working knowledge of COAX based networking equipment, such as: taps, nodes, amps, splitters, fittings, and industry standard practices.
- CISCO 10K experience welcome.
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license.
- Applicant must be able to drive for long periods, and route themselves to triage issues and limit down time of subscribers.
- Applicant must be able to work alone and make decisions or convey issues over the phone under little, to no, onsite supervision.

EDUCATION: Trade School or Comparable Certifications, High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE: 2-5 Years of related employment experience, Customer Service driven background is a plus.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS:
Certifications are desirable, but not required with appropriate work experience.
