Floating Maintenance Technician Needed at Richman Property Services, Inc.,

Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a community-inspired, passion-driven full-time Floating Maintenance Technician with a can-do attitude to join our growing Richman Signature luxury team. The position will be based out of The Exchange, our 130 unit luxury residential community. The Floating Tech will assist other luxury communities in this portfolio as needed.

Position: Floating Maintenance Technician 1

Location: The Exchange, and other luxury communities in Tampa area.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, with a one hour lunch break daily. Position requires on-call/weekend rotation

Preferred Requirements: EPA 608 I & II or EPA Universal certification, experience with luxury communities, high commitment to superior Resident relations, and experience with Yardi property management software.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and sustain daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
• Manage service requests and response times, ensuring completion within established deadlines while warranting responsive, efficient, and courteous customer service
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Always maintain a safe work environment and report any safety concerns/issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager
• Uphold and demonstrate exceptional customer service
• Seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development
• Participate in on-going property preventative maintenance plan
• Assist in team effort of maintaining curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds
• Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
• Communicate adequate inventory of maintenance supplies and parts
  
  

Requirements:

• Education:
• High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
• Experience:
• Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
• Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
• Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Skills & Certifications:
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes, Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
