Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Draftsperson to join our team. In this position you will perform drafting assignments including creation of lot specific construction documents, generated using AutoCAD Architecture.
Responsiblities
- Base plan corrections using AutoCAD Architecture
- Work with National Architecture Department to ensure the quality of our drawings and integrity of the product is maintained
- Assist in the review and correction of site specific plans (Architecture plans, engineering plans, HVAC/ Man J’s, ect.) to ensure accuracy of construction documents
- Assist with administrative task within the department including but not limited to printing plans for field use
- Respond to technical questions from internal and external parties regarding plans currently under construction
- Assist with addressing comments received from building department officials
- Coordinate with structural engineering and civil engineering for plan tracking and lot specific corrections
- Create and manage tracking document to ensure timely turn around on projects including lot specific orders
Requirements
- Degree or Certification in Drafting
- 1-2 Years Architectural drafting experience preferred but not required
- Proficient in AutoCad
- Proficient in Microsoft word and excel
- Experience in Bluebeam or Adobe
- Basic knowledge of Construction Documents is a bonus
- Attention to detail
