Richmond Area Multi-Services (RAMS) is searching for a Receptionist for the RAMS Hire-Ability Vocational Services Program
Work site : DPH Behavioral Health Services administration and / or clinics
Salary Range : $22.66 per hour
Status : Part-Time, Thursday and Friday afternoons Per Diem
Benefits : healthcare coverage / contributions leave benefits (as per city county ordinance)
Your role : The Receptionist provides reception and administrative support to SFDPH-BHS staff in the day-to-day operations of SF Department of Public Health - Behavioral Health Services administration at 1380 Howard St. & / or at the assigned DPH-BHS clinic.
Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Greet, log in, and assist visitors
- Inform staff when visitors & / or clients arrive for appointments
- Answer & direct incoming phone calls on a multi-line & / or computer-based telephone system
- Take messages legibly and accurately
- Manage multiple components of BHS conference room reservation request / confirmation systems (1380 Howard only)
- Create, maintain and update daily conference room schedules for posting
- Call and remind clients of upcoming appointments, call for client transportation (Clinic only)
- Preparing / creating and filing of client charts (Clinic only)
- Expedite and receive deliveries, mail & faxes and route to appropriate staff & maintain log
- Coordinate with clerical / mailroom staff for collection and distribution of interoffice mail and faxes
- Perform routine clerical tasks, filing, and organization, as well as duties specific to the functions of their assigned department or unit
- Maintain work area and surroundings
- Uphold excellent record of attendance and punctuality, professional presentation & attire, positive demeanor, and high standards of customer service
- Assist staff with copies, faxing, and general usage of office equipment as needed
- Assist in special projects, most of which involve computer-based program / technology
- Promptly communicates & responds in a timely manner
- Maintains and submits accurate records, timesheets, and other program-related documentation
- Participate in staff meetings & other staff development activities
- Engages in pro-active and productive teamwork in a collaborative and flexible manner
