About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Activities Director to join our team at Richmond Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing engaging programs for all days of the week, including Sundays and Holidays.
- Program Planning: Develop and implement a variety of activities that cater to the needs and interests of our residents.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Prepare a monthly staffing schedule for Recreational Assistants and ensure that all documentation requirements are met.
- Rapport Building: Foster strong relationships with all departments involved in care planning to achieve a comprehensive plan of care.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all facility and corporate policies, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for our residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in activities/recreation in a child care setting or adult care setting. You should also possess excellent administrative and organizational skills, as well as a current CNA license.
