Duties and Responsibilities
The Activities Aide/CNA will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of engaging programs for all days of the week, including Sundays and holidays. This includes person-centered activities, such as exercise and dance, small and large group programs, individual pursuits, sensory activities, clubs, special interests, spiritual and religious activities, and community outings. The role also involves preparing monthly activity calendars and staffing schedules, ensuring documentation requirements are met, and developing a good rapport with other departments. Additionally, the Activities Aide/CNA will order supplies, arrange events, decorate the facility for holidays and seasons, and supervise the volunteer program.
