Richmond Community Services is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) to develop and implement behavior support plans that promote growth and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and revise behavior support plans based on assessments and data analysis
- Train and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in behavioral interventions
- Conduct functional assessments and monitor progress through data collection
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and external committees
- Participate in meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and staff training
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology or a related field (BCBA preferred)
- Experience in behavioral or clinical services (preferably with developmental disabilities)
- Valid NYS driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work a flexible 21-hour workweek, with potential for extended hours
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive pay: $32.15 - $36.21 per hour (commensurate with experience)
