Position Summary:
The Quality Improvement Specialist will provide administrative support to the Quality Improvement Team and assist in implementing initiatives that ensure the ongoing excellence of Richmond’s services. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Quality Improvement Team, including preparing reports, maintaining files, and coordinating meetings.
- Assist in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives, such as the Agency’s Quality Improvement Plan and Incident Review Committee.
- Maintain accurate records related to incident management, policies, and corrective action plans.
- Coordinate and document meetings, including preparing materials, taking minutes, and tracking follow-ups.
- Participate in incident on-call rotations to support timely reporting and investigations.
- Manage supplies and ensure the organization of department resources.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Business/Secretarial School graduate preferred.
- At least three years of administrative experience, with a preference for supporting multiple staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

- Regularly scheduled 35-hour workweek with on-call rotations.
