The Server/Bartender is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by delivering friendly, efficient service to all members and guests at the club. This position requires a combination of food service and bartending skills, ensuring that all food and beverage orders are taken and served promptly while maintaining a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome members and guests in a professional, friendly manner.
- Take food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and serving of alcoholic beverages according to club policies and legal regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all members’ and guests’ needs are met in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Respond to any customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies and ensure inventory levels are adequate.
- Uphold all safety and sanitation regulations, including the cleanliness of glassware, utensils, and countertops.
- Follow all club policies, including dress code, grooming, and conduct standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server, bartender, or in a customer service role (preferred, but not required).
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to handle cash transactions and operate a POS system.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be 18 years or older (21 for bartending).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have the stamina to handle high-volume service periods.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
