Full-time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) needed at Richmond Co Health Department
The Richmond County Health Department is recruiting a full-time MOA to help with the Richmond Community Care Clinic, a primary care clinic. This person will assist in completing applications for the Medical Access Plan (MAP) program, as well as assisting the nurse in the clinic.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Recruiting and enrolling patients for the MAP program.
· Be a liaison for the patient to obtain qualifying documents for the program.
· Identifying and scheduling patients who need annual wellness visits.
· Provide outreach to the community about the Community Care Clinic and MAP program.
· Enroll patients in the Patient Portal
· Assist the clinic nurse in setting up rooms and helping with patient care.
This position will need someone who is organized, has good communication skills, and is motivated to increase participation in the clinic.
Education requirements: Graduation from an accredited school with a degree in Medical Office Assisting and one-year experience.
Salary Range: $32,386.22 - $33,954.28 annually
