Proficient data entry/typing skills of at least 45 wpm are preferred. The ability to verify and organize data. Must have effective oral and written communication skills.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that all daily routes are efficiently run for the best possible service to students using the appropriate RCSS tracking system as well as geographic, transportation, and student data preparation.
- Schedule and coordinate routes and tasks
- Learn new software applications quickly
- Maintain bus schedules and information pertinent to all bus routes, including updating route information which is accessible by schools and other departments in need of this information.
- Keeps current information on all regular and special education routes on maps.
- Works with all drivers to assist in solving problems, making route and bus stop changes, and other matters related to their routes, involving the Director of Transportation when needed.
- Works with school principals and department heads as assigned by the Director of Transportation to make sure needs are met by the Transportation Department.
- Works with parents and members of the staff in other areas as deemed necessary by the Director of Transportation.
- Enter and retrieve data in software systems that support the operations of the Transportation Department.
- Participates in driver and attendant/monitor conferences.
- Assists with performing other duties as may be assigned by the Route Supervisor and the Director of Transportation.
