Richmond Express Courier Service and Warehousing is seeking a professional and customer focused Dispatcher to join our team!
Schedule Saturday and Sunday 11p-7a
Candidates would be responsible for:
- Tracking orders ensuring that times and service standards are met
- Working with the team to provide service in line with the Richmond Express standard
- Utilizing critical thinking skills to ensure efficiency and accuracy in service
- Providing excellent customer service
This position is ideal for individuals who prefer a challenging and dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- 2 Years prior customer service experience
- Dispatch experience preferred
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing excellent service in a dynamic dispatch department
- Building rapport with customers and drivers, while acting as the lead liaison for the fleet
- Providing insight and feedback to ensure driver expectations are met
What is required:
- A positive attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good working knowledge of the Richmond area
