What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Associate position at Richmond Professional Lab?
ABOUT US:
Richmond Professional Lab is a commercial photofinishing lab located at 7545 Midlothian Turnpike. We edit images, print, collate photo packages, and ship orders to customers in all 50 states, serving over 5,000 professional photographers nationwide.
We are now hiring seasonal employees to work through early June. End dates are flexible and can be coordinated as needed based on volume. We will have a variety of roles available that will encompass photo printing, photo packaging, photo gift item assembly, quality control and shipping. No prior experience is needed - we offer on the job training!

SCHEDULE: TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE
- First Shift: Monday – Friday 7AM-3PM
- Second Shift: Monday - Friday 3PM-11PM
COMPENSATION:
- $15 / Hour
REQUIREMENTS:
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
DEPARTMENTS AND POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
- Photo Printing: Printing technicians assist in running roll fed photo printers, changing paper rolls, inks, and unloading finished prints from trays
- Press Printing: Press technicians assist in running press printers which produce greeting cards, calendars, baseball cards and other similar products. Press techs will also help package press orders and match products with invoices.
- Dye Sublimation Printing: Dye Sublimation technicians assist in heat pressing images onto photo gift items. We produce a wide variety of products in this department including mugs, keychains, and holiday ornaments.
- Canvas and Banner Printing: Canvas and Banner technicians assist in printing and assembling canvas gallery wraps and vinyl grommet banners.
- Photo Assembly: Photo Assembly technicians assist in producing photo gift items like buttons, magnets, keychains, and awards plaques.
- Photo Packaging: Photo Packaging technicians match prints and products with respective invoices, and package photos in window envelopes or mailing envelopes.
- Shipping: Shipping Technicians box, weigh and scan orders in preparation for shipping.
