Title of Position : Staff Accountant

Job Description : The Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely monthly restaurant P&L statements. This Staff Accountant requires knowledge of financial and accounting processes on a GAAP basis. The Staff Accountant will manage several tasks concurrently and should be proficient in being able to quickly troubleshoot, work independently and provide practical solutions to problems. The Staff Accountant position requires daily interaction with Restaurant management and internal team members and requires strong communication skills, both verbally and written. The Staff Accountant position ensures that all daily / monthly debits and credits are accurately posted and reconciled in the appropriate general ledger. Additionally, this position is responsible for account receivable, accounts payable, account reconciliations, credit card billing and coding, and other accounting tasks as assigned.
