What are the responsibilities and job description for the Career and Technical Education Testing Facilitator position at Richmond Technical Center?
General Description:
The CTE Testing Facilitator will lead and support all aspects of CTE industry credential testing for
grades 9-12. This individual will provide reports to the CTE team, school administration, and CTE
teachers on industry credential testing outcomes to include assistance in preparing remediation
plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Coordinates industry credential testing for all CTE high school students enrolled in courses
at comprehensive and specialty schools, as well as the Richmond Technical Center
? Orders and schedules tests, creates test tickets, and proctors or administers tests as
needed
? Develop a testing calendar for the CTE Manager and division
? Provide training and support relative to the administration of required testing programs to
school staff who must proctor testing
? Develop an understanding of score reporting procedures for each test and report scores
in a comprehensive data-driven format
? Ensures industry credential data is accurately documented and reported
? Supports CTE teachers by analyzing testing data and developing remediation plans in
collaboration with CTE Instructional Specialists
? Provides reports and/or presentations on industry credential testing outcomes to the CTE
Manager, CTE team, school administration, CTE teachers, and other relevant stakeholders
? Develops and maintains relationships with partners and vendors that provide testing
resources
? Assumes responsibility for own professional growth and development by attending
appropriate professional meetings, workshops, and conferences and keeping current with
the literature and new research findings
? Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed or assigned
Qualifications:
? Must have a collegiate or postgraduate professional license or be eligible for a provisional
license in a Career and Technology Education content area.
? Knowledge of Virginia CTE programs, Career Clusters, CTE Pathways, and the CTE industry
credentials.
? Ability to form strong relationships and collaborate with students, team members, teachers,
administrators, and other community and business stakeholders
? Must have skills in operating a personal computer and in utilizing email, spreadsheets,
presentation, and database software
? Must exhibit highly effective communication skills, excellent presentation skills, critical thinking
and problem-solving skills, and superior planning and organizational skills
? Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
