Key Responsibilities:
As the Director of Compliance, you will:
- Support and monitor all aspects of the LIHTC, HOME, and NSP Programs.
- Act as a liaison with various governmental agencies and housing authorities.
- Supervise the compliance team and ensure program compliance across properties.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members on compliance matters.
- Oversee and manage detailed compliance tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
- Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Property Management.
- Travel up to 75% to ensure program success across properties.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of LIHTC and affordable housing programs is required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with Tax Credit Programs.
- Current C3P designation required.
- HCCP and C3P designations preferred.
- Knowledge of OneSite is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with team members and external partners.
- Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Sound management principles and excellent people skills.
