What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Technician position at Rick's Boat Shop?
Why Rick’s Boat Service?
We are a family owned company that started off in a garage with three generations of boat lovers. We have transitioned over time from a mobile marina service into the marina that we are today.
We are the only marina in the tri-state area that works on older boats and many of our customers are sent to us from other well-respected marinas. We work on everything from the older 2-stroke outboards to the newer 4-stroke outboard engines. We also do welding, minor fiberglass repair, rewiring 12-volt systems in boats, and rebuilding 2-stroke outboard engines from the ground up.
We have a total of 9 complete work bays to work on boats that are fully equipped with a boat lift and air compressors. Our shop is organized, well-lit, and heated.
The fun and friendly atmosphere of the shop is what drives us to be our best. Between helping each other and training one another we strive to keep boat knowledge available for all generations to come. With this great working environment, all employees are respectful, open to any questions, and willing to help. We are looking for someone who is excited to learn and ready to become a part of this talented team.
