Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. This body technician position will be responsible for body repairs, including welding, riveting, metal repairs, priming and reassembly.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on damaged vehicles, including bodywork and frame straightening
- Work with sheet metal to fabricate and assemble parts as needed.
- Conduct welding tasks to repair or replace damaged components.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in shop environment performing auto body repairs.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in an automotive environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Comfortable with welding in new panels and reading OEM procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
