Overview
We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Technician/Well Pump Installer to join our team. As a Water Treatment Technician/Pump Installer, you will be responsible for Installing, maintaining, trouble shooting and operating water treatment systems and well pumps, ensuring the quality and safety of water for various purposes. Must be able to lift 50lbs or more and available to work overtime as needed. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for environmental stewardship, we encourage you to apply.
Duties Include:
- Operate install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment and well pump systems
- Monitor and adjust chemical levels to ensure water quality meets regulatory standards
- Conduct routine inspections of treatment facilities and equipment
- Collect water samples for laboratory analysis
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of treatment processes and data collection
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on treatment systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize treatment processes
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Mechanical knowledge for water treatment equipment operation and maintenance as well as well pumps.
- Ability to operate equipment such as work trucks.
- Familiarity with logic controllers used in water treatment systems.
