SummaryMinimum 3 years proven experience as a Construction Sr. Project Manager in the construction industry. We are looking for a skilled Construction Sr. Project Manager to join our team at Rick Shipman Construction. In this role, based in our operational area, you will oversee various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.ResponsibilitiesProject DevelopmentDevelop and deliver a project management program encompassing all the details of a project to the team members.Coordinate with HR Staff Manager to assign project manager, supervisors and crew members (if required) to projects.Review budgets with PM’s, negotiate and award contracts.Coordinate between all the various departments to develop the program (e.g. Hotel, vehicle / transportation, books and postings, etc…).Oversee project managers and their projectsProvide coaching and guidance to the team members about every aspect of the project so that the team members can understand their tasks fully and act on them efficiently.Evaluate the progress of project on regular basis.Ensure all projects have updated project documents.Ensure compliance, schedules and overall operations are completed and on schedule.Keep a close watch on the budgets of each project.Ensure projects are following timelines.Ensure project closeout is complete within deadline dates.In conjunction with Project Managers, ensure change requests are completed and submitted in the time constraints given by clients / owners.
