Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in surveying or related field preferred.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in land surveying, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
This role involves ensuring accurate data collection, conducting different types of surveys, and maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

- Proficient with total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors.
- Strong understanding of survey principles and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and legal descriptions.
- Ability to read and interpret survey notes, maps, and construction plans.
- Ability and willingness to travel to various project sites.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, and moving objects of up to 50 pounds across various terrains.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Land Survey Intern (LSI) certification.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other surveying software.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal surveying regulations
- Work is performed primarily in outdoor environments, construction sites, roadways, and often in remote and rugged locations.
- Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, walking on uneven/steep terrain, and carrying equipment.
- Position is primarily based at our Arvada, CO office.
