Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet the public warmly and professionally.
- Distribute name badges to visitors, temporary employees, etc.
- Schedule meeting rooms for staff and visitors.
- Answer and transfer calls from across the United States.
- Participate enthusiastically in company and community service events.
- Perform light administrative duties as needed.
- Provide PC support and administrative assistance when required.
- Serve as a role model for the company’s Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Build professional relationships with customers and other teams.
- Maintain timely updates for company phone and speed dial lists, Brag Board, and Company Calendar.
- Update the automated messaging center daily.
- Assist administration or other teams with various tasks (e.g., envelope labels, compiling manuals).
- Order, maintain, and distribute promotional items for the Promotional Store.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 years of prior switchboard or receptionist experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Typically an office environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise.
- Work assignments are diversified, requiring the ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material and data.
- Some physical effort is required. The work is mostly sedentary but involves walking, standing, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files).
- Regular use of basic skills such as operating a calculator, keyboard, and hand tools, requiring moderate dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
